Dr. Robert J. Mathews is a graduate of Internal Medicine from Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA where he went on to complete his specialized training in Nephrology. Dr. Mathews is involved in medical student as well as medical resident training and has been awarded teaching accolades during his years in teaching and has also been nominated and awarded a New Jersey top doctor for several years. Dr. Mathews serves on the Select LTACH executive committee and is also the nephrology medical director of Seacrest Rehabilitation Center and Preferred Care at Absecon. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology as well as an active member of the American College of Physicians. He has been in active nephrology practice since 2011 and is board certified. Dr. Mathews’ goal is to treat every patient in the same manner as his family and to make complex medical decisions with the patient and family together.
