Dr. Melind R. Pandya has been a local resident of Cape May County almost his entire life starting from grade school through high school. After graduating from Lower Cape May Regional High School, he did his undergraduate studies at Ursinus College where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and was named to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

He then went to medical school and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Stratford, NJ. He completed his training in Internal Medicine from Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ where he also was Chief Resident. He went on to complete his specialized training in Nephrology at the State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

After fellowship, he returned to his hometown and wanted to give back to the community where he grew up. He was named physician of the year at the Volunteers in Medicine clinic in 2017. He has been in active nephrology practice since 2006 and is board certified. Dr. Pandya has been named as a NJ top doctor for several years.
